ScaleIO on Linux variants

Hello, is understood ScaleIO supports the following Linux flavors as mentioned from the installation guide:

CentOS, Redhat, SUSE

There are other Linux variants well and heavily supported by the community, that are clones of Redhat and SUSE, for instance:

Oracle Linux, Scientific Linux, and OpenSUSE

ScaleIO will likely run correctly and unmodified on the variants mentioned above, if ScaleIO is purchased with an EMC support contract, will support be still be honored?

Thank you!

If it is not in the support matrix, EMC might not support it, UNLESS you submit a RPQ (support exception process). If approved, EMC will fully support your environment.

Ask your EMC Sales Representative how to get a RPQ for your environment!

Thank you Rafa, will you know what the road map for Linux OS support looks like?

As adding these three Linux OSs is a simple win from a support standpoint, and will certainly add value to the product without too much fuss...

I'm sure people will want to be able to run EMC supported ScaleIO on Oracle Linux, there great benefits on doing this, and it will ease the product adoption into the enterprise.

Finally, how can we obtain an actual EMC support disclaimer confirming what you have mentioned?

Thank you!
