Can we integrate EMC SMART'S Network Protocol Manager with other Java based event management application ?
Hi All,
I would like to know is it possible to Integrate EMC SMART's Network Protocol Manager with our custom made Java based event managed application so SMARTS can forward the alerting data to that ?
Has any one tried to do this ? If yes what is the procedure & requirements ?

It is possible to use the Smarts Java API (skclient.jar) to monitor notification lists and react to new, changed or deleted notifications.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for the response. I am a bit new to SMART'S so can you let me know where this API will be inserted ?
Or is there any Step by Step documentation which is available on doing this ?

The JAR files are installed as part of the SMARTS installation; you can search the EMC support site for documentation.
