Is there a method for sorting a list?

Yes I know I could write an ASL function to do this, but I'm wondering if there's a method that isn't documented that will allow me to sort a list (from within in ASL)?

No, not that I'm aware of... and if you look at the existing ASL scripts, there is no use of any sort function. So:
- as you know, you could... ;-)
- or, you can reconsider the need of ASL for what you want to acheive. Maybe PERL will do,
- or, you can try to use an instance of ACT_Script (or ACT_PerlScript) to do the sort _if_ there is no volume (I won't try this with SNMP traps that can be numerous for exemple).

My 2 cents.
