ES1 for Domino and RIM BlackBerry Enterprise Server - Shortcut retrieval

Hi all,
Shortcut retrieval as we all know is completely different in Domino Environment.
Shortcut retrival is processed at source installing a SourceOne Shortcut Extention on all Domino Servers.
In this way all requests to Domino server to open shortcut messages are intercepted by ES1 shortcut extention that retrieves in real time original content from ES1 repository.
In this way it's completely trasparent from Lotus Notes client or from Domino Web Access.

Does anyone test what happens opening shortcut messages from a BlackBerry device using BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) ?

Thank you

Best regards

Andrea

Greetings,

To access shortcuts in BlackBerry you need to use Universal URL provided in Application Configuration - SourceOne Email Management Console.

Important : In the External URL field, specify the DNS CNAME alias of the server that is running the SourceOne Mobile Services. Do not specify a fixed IP address or a hostname, because IP addresses and hostnames can change. File shortcuts that have incorrect URL information cannot be updated.
