EmailXtender 4.6 SR1 Database Upgrade Utility
I have an upgrade from 4.60.332 to EX 4.70.434 coming up soon and I have a few questions. Does the EmailXtender 4.6 SR1 Database Upgrade Utility unpack and recreate all the container files? Is data available on the performance of the utility? Thank you for any advice.

We do not re-create all the container files since this would not be possible if they where stored on Centerra in compliance mode. We do have to re-index all the messages to update the Domain field in the index (new feature in 4.7). Keep in mind that you only have to use the database upgrade tool if you want to be able to do domain searches on theses volumes.

So is the time required to run the utility comparable to simply reindexing the volume?
