DVD Decoder

I just re-installed Windows XP, and cannot play DVD's as I need a "DVD Decoder" I cannot find this, does Dell supply this as when I first got my Inspiron 6400 it was able to play DVD's so I assume it is somewhere, if it is indeed supplied what disk is it on, and/or is it available to be downloaded from the Dell website?

Dell installs a DVD Decoder on all new systems.  If you do not have the disc
and are still within the warranty period, you can request the disc.

Look for the disk with Cyberlink's PowerDVD on it.  That's what Dell includes with the 6400/E1505.

I, too, trying to view DVDs on my Dell (Dimension);  I found the disk "For reinstalling CyberLine PowerDVD Software, but it says it is already installed.  However, I cannot view DVDs.  Should I try re-installing this disk?
