DVD+RW Drive
I never owned a DVD+RW drive before and I'm wondering if the DVD+RW drive in the Home Office Dimension XPS package has CD-RW capabilities as well? I looked at this page:
I could see details on the "DVD+RW/+R with CD-RW Drive", but is that the same thing as the one displayed for the XPS? I'm asking 'cause it doesn't say "DVD+RW/+R with CD-RW Drive". It just says "DVD+RW Drive". There doesn't seem to be details on that though.. just the "DVD+RW/+R with CD-RW Drive". So, I'm assuming that's the same thing?

Can't access the link? Well, this is the particular text I'm referring to on that page:
DVD+RW/+R with CD-RW Drive
The perfect All-in-One combination! Read CD or DVD media, write DVD+RW, DVD+R media or CD media! This drive offers leading edge optical capability, and includes both Sonic MyDVD for digital content authoring and Roxio Direct CD for CD and DVD data burning.
But I think you helped me on this already. Thanks.

Hi The Alien,
I could not access your link, however all DVD burners will write to CD-R & CD-RW media. The DVD media, (excluding DVD-RAM)comes in two formats "+R /RW" and "-R /RW".
Currently Dell is factory installing only single format drives that support "+" media.
Best Regards
God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the
difference.

"At the bottom of the link it spells out exactly the media the drive will write to."
That wasn't part of my problem.
