ECC/OE 5.2 SP3 and Windows 2003 SP1

We were "strongly urged" to apply sp4 before upgrading Win2K3 to sp1. We followed this advice and have had no problems, but I'm not sure how sp3 will work.

They couldn't nail down the exact issues, but we would have been in an "unsupported config" if we had no followed their advice.

But the real question is...

Does CC 5.2sp3 not work on Win2K3 sp1 or did EMC just not want to test it completely so they could certify it. I suspect the later, but haven't seen anything to prove one way or the other.

I suspected it was possible under the right circumstances.
