ECC and cisco 9216i
Hello,
we have cisco 9216i switches in our fabrics (for write acceleration features)
but ECC seems not to be able to apply zoning correctly in theses switches.
We need to use cisco tools for zoning and then import active zone set to ECC.
Does a workaround using ECC exist ?
Will it be corrected in a future revision of ECC ?
Thank you
Fox

As to them being supported in future. You should ideally consult with your Account Manager and see if they can confirm if anything is in the pipeline for supporting them.

I did check in support matrix for ECC 5.2 SP4,
and these switches are supported ....
I think a case is needed.
Thanx a lot

ECC does not discover or support the FCIP ports - do the VSAN's you're discovering use them as ISL's in the fabric ?
It also does not support interop vsan's.
Do either of those apply to you ?
Glen.

In fact cisco switches are well discovered but the issue is when we are trying to add new zones on VSAN.
The only way to have a consistent zone set is to apply it using cisco GUI and then to import it under ECC.
