How to make persistent changes to the apg user account
We are trying to configure the apg user account for VMAX discovery, but are having issues when it comes to making persistent changes to the environment variables and PATH for the apg user.
Wishing to make additions to each to allow the apg user to run symapi commands.
Set the following System environment variables on the client host:
- l SYMCLI_CONNECT=SYMAPI_SERVER
- l SYMCLI_CONNECT_TYPE=REMOTE
Add /opt/emc/SYMCLI/bin to the PATH
Any input would be appreciated.

what if you check the file symapi directory or files in it and run a ll to see if the apg has access to it..if not just use chown apg apg
