Master Agent autostart on AIX
Hello , Is there is any way to auto start the Master Agent service on AIX hosts ? autostart on reboot is not supported on AIX , any one tried to add the service to the inittab File ? any issuse or concerns ?

Hi Yousef,
Apart from the workaround in the Primus solution (which includes editing the inittab file), I do not know of any other method to autostart the Master Agent on AIX.
Personally, I have not heard of issues/concerns but it would probably be best to speak with an AIX expert re same.

Hi Yousef,
The ControlCenter startup eccmad script for the Master Agent is not supported in an IBM AIX environment. For that reason, the Master Agent installation program does not present the 'autostart on reboot' question.

Hello Seamus,
As mentioned in my post , i noticed that primus , what im asking if there is any concerns to add the service to the inittab File on that AIX server ?
