Unisphere for VMAX (Remove a SYM? )
Is there a UI action to remove a SYM from Unisphere for VMAX or does one just un-zone it and remove it after the system cannot see it?

Is there a UI action to remove a SYM from Unisphere for VMAX or does one just un-zone it and remove it after the system cannot see it?

Yes, unzone is one way, removing the gatekeeper from the mgmt host of the unwanted symm is another way. if after following everything, you still see the symm then you can use symcfg -remove -sid xxx option. it removes the symm from the db.
