is NPIV supported in Control Center 6.1 or not

According to emc180436, it says not. But this makes me wonder. I searched the release notes dated May 29, 2012 and there is no mention of NPIV in there. We have DS5100s running v6.4.2a FOS and of 4 virtual WWNs I should be seeing when trying to create a new zone, only one appears. Rediscovering the fabrics makes no diff.

ECC is 6.1.0.11.849.

Anybody have a definitive on this or am I wasting my time?
