Hello:

Best practice would be to use SANHQ with the DSA plug-in for your EqualLogic storage. This will give you the most accurate case triggers and will also be more flexible as new triggers are added in the future.

In addition to installing the plug-in in SupportAssist, be sure to enable the SupportAssist function within SANHQ itself.

Yes.

EQL devices are also supported by SupportAssist OME plugin.

But, if monitoring EQL with SANHQ would be best practice, with benefits listed above.

 

You can still monitor servers and PowerConnect switches by SupportAssist OME.

Dear Madhav, thanks for answer.

So, I must remove EQL device on OME inventory?

If then, We can not see all Dell asset information at one monitoring system(OME), and we must monitor

two software simultaneously. (OME and SANHQ)
