%Busy at Frontend Director Level And %Busy At Port(of frontend director) Level

i was looking into HeatMap in the Univmax Report, where it shows the FE Director Busy 49% and Port busy as 0 for both port 0 and 1.

Similar observation i found in FE Director Summary report.

So i want to know when port is not busy how director can be busy at that time…please explain this to us.

Is there any other thing happening in backend which is keeping director busy and sometimes difference is huge.

FE director busy is looking at the CPU utilization.

Port busy is looking at the potential port throughput vs. what it is pushing in MB/sec.

With small IOs, it is very possible to have 100% CPU utilization and pushing low MB/sec.

For example 10,000 8K IOs could result in very high CPU utilization, and only 78MB/sec or 10% of a 8gb port.
