Does a CLI command exist that can report on Thin Pool Membership by Host
I'm looking for a CLI command that can output the device membership of all devices masked to a host that also includes the Thin Pool. Support is telling me the only cli command that exists is for all devices in a thin pool (which is not ideal when there are thousands of devices).
Ideally I'd like this to be in the output of:
symaccess -sid XXX view -name hostname list -v -detail
I'm surprised that EMC has not received this type of request before...

sounds like a little scripting project to me . Take output from "symaccess -sid 123 list devinfo -ig ig_name" and loop through devices capturing their pool assignment.

you want to see all devices masked to an initiator group and filter output where only thin devices are listed ?

I'd like to see all devices masked to an initiator group and in the output, an additional field is presented that includes the Pool Name. Our pools are named after Tiers - so our DBA's can benefit from knowing which LUNs are for which application profile after they are presented to a host.
