Thin Pool Creation, all new on a VMAX
I have the following hosts:
- AIX 5.3 ML 07
- ESX 4.0.0
- Windows 2003 [x86] Standard Edition SP2.
I have to use virtual/Thin provisioning for these on a brand new VMAX SE which comes with Tdats each of size 147 gig. The primary purpose is to support the migrations of the above hosts from existing Array (HP-EVA and DS4800) to VMAX- SE, Keeping these factors in mind what are the best practices to do virtual provisioning and thinpools?...I am not sure but once the local migration is done...This VMAX-SE will SRDFed to remote site. What will be the best practice in view of above considerations.

The Target array would be another VMAX.
