VMAX VP Snap on R2 side with SRDF/A ?
Hello folks,
I was wondering if we can use VP Snap as the R2 BCV in SRDF Asynchronus replication scenario.
I know that we can use a TF clone but not a TF snap as R2BCV in a SRDF/A replication, what about TF VP Snap?
We will be limited on storage at DR site, so we want to use VP snaps at the target site if they are supported with SRDF/A replication.

Yes, with device level write pacing. See page 9 of the VP Snap White Paper link below:

Thanks Michael, Good to know that it is supported.
I am concerned about the host performance while using devcie level write pacing though, have to check any implications using this feature. Have never used it before.
