how to check number of storage bays connected to system bay and how to check no.of disks installed in each storage bay in DMX4 using symcli

Did you tried symcfg -sid XXX list -env_data it will provide status of major harware module.
for no. of disks check https://community.emc.com/message/432139 it will help you.
