symcli command query - related to Symmetrix Health Check

Hi

When trying to run the following command on one of our VMAX arrays we get the following error message.

Can someone advise if this command is only support on certain versions of Solutions Enabler.

Thanks as always

“symdisk list –sid XXX –spindle –spare info”

Error message – “-spindle” –illegal option.

Version of symcli run against was v7.3.2.2 E level  1404.

Hi Steve,

-spindle is an argument on SE 7.4

-spindle    Displays spindle information instead of

               the standard disk address information.

-spindle is not an argument (at least not for 7.3), look at man pages for symdisk
