symmask -delete login
I was clearing out some old WWPN logins and removed the enty that was still needed. Is there a way to recover the entry after issuing this command?
symmask -sid 1111 delete -wwn 210000e08XXXXXXX -dir 13d -p 1 -login
Thanks

Initially, the login I accidentally deleted wouldn't re-enable because the HBA died and wasn't registering back in on the fabric. (Should have looked at that first) I recreated the issue with a test box and your steps were exactly what had to be done to get it to log back in.
Thanks

had to fix this myself today, re-activating the zoneset does not help. I had to completely drop the zone from active zoneset , activate the zoneset ..add the zone back and re-active it again. At this point the WWN showed up again in "list logins" output.
