Change omaws32 port from 8000

Hi All,

I have an 11.5.9 Oracle financials environment on RHAS 3.0. I need to change the apache port to listen on 8000 but this being used by omaws32. How can I reconfig this? Any suggestions gratefully received. I need to be able to do this soon (by 17/03/05) as prod system is swapping over to Linux platform at weekend And I need to test this and the DNS switching.

Hi & thanks for info.

I found and edited this file setting the RMI_PORT to 6000. I tried to restart the processes with dellomsa restart, but this was not found. Did search from / as root but couldn't find it. So, bounced server. On restart did netstat -a|grep 6000 and got nothing. Did a netstat -a|grep 8000 and this returned a line. Looking back in DiagnosticSettings.properties i see that the RMI_PORT is now pointing back to 8000.

Any suggestions?
