Client Management (Optiplex, Precision, etc)
Hi everybody.
I'm managing a LAN with around 200+ Dell devices.
I'm ussing OME+OMSA to manage Servers (PowerVault, NAS, SAN, iDRAC, etc.), and everything works fine.
But I can not find any tool to manage the rest of the clients (Optiplex, Precision, Latitude, etc). I've installed OMCI in some client just to test, but I'm not able to interface it with OME.
Does Dell offer any tool to manage client devices ?

Hi,
Hope you are not using older OME version. Please try OME 1.1 which provides support for the mentioned client devices and refer www.delltechcenter.com/ome for more information.
You can also check technical document on OME client support: en.community.dell.com/.../20218168.aspx
Use WMI protocol for client (with and without OMCI) device discovery in OME.

That's fantastic, thank you for your quick reply.
I just upgraded yesterday to OME 1.1.1 and I'm playing with it ...but no luck yet.
I'm going to take a look to technical documentation right now ....thank you !!!!
