Dell OM IT Assistant: Cannot import packages after Repository has been moved

IT Assistant
Version 8.9.0

----

Hello,

I just moved my repository to another location as described in here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/servers/f/177/p/18243388/18366374.aspx (Post of DELL-JamesC).

I now receive the following error message:

Error Code: 1904

Error message: e:\dell\ita\ItaRepository is not a supported repository location

Is there a way to fix this / Is there an updated way how to move the repository?

Thanks for your help!

Best Regards

RicTr

This is a wild guess, but look at this line in the instructions:

set repositoryLocation = 'e:\dell\ita\\ItaRepository'

Note the two backslashes... "...ita\\ItaRep..."

Your error message only has one backslash.  I don't know if that is meaningful or not but I figured I'd point it out just in case.

Hei,

I had the same problem. I finally solved it by

- Deinstallation of OMIA

- Reinstallation

- Change database entry in table Repository to new location of the repository

- restart machine

After that the system dowloads all the files to the new location. Why the changes in the DB didn't become affective before reinstallation the application: I don't know.
