Hello

Are you able to boot into the fibre controller's BIOS? There should be options for scanning or entering information regarding the the fibre device. Which fibre controller is in the blade? Which switch are you using in the chassis?

What options are you selecting, and what is the outcome?

Thanks

Fibre Pass-Thru Module (HJ162)

The fibre pass-through module does not have any logic. It is just a physical connection for the fibre.
I need to know this information:

Which slot is the blade in that you are trying to connect to netapp?
Which port on the fibre pass-through is the netapp/switch connected?
Which fibre card do you have installed in that blade?
Do you have a fibre switch?
Is the Netapp directly connected to the pass-through module or is there something between them?

Thanks

The reason we are asking about what port you are plugging the unit into, is to confirm which server we should be looking for the device on. Which physical port is the DS14 being plugged into?

Doing some reading on the netapp devices it appears that the ds14 need to be used with a filer like a SP-FAS3050. Are you using a filer with the ds14?
