Dell R720Dell R720 Power Utilization Monitoring thru SNMP
I would like to monitor the Power Utilization of Dell R720 using SNMP tool. I have downloaded the SNMP MIB from Dell site. What's the SNMP OID to monitor the power utilization?

Hi,
You can try .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.5.4.600.60.1.20 which is power usage headroom.

The OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.5.4.600.60.1.20 is not correct.
I am refering the Dell Openmanage SNMP Reference Guide 7.4 but unable to pinpoint the correct OID.
All I need is the total power utilization graph for the server. Please advise.

I used a mib tool to look at all of the OIDs and there is not one for showing the
power utilization graph.

For those that came here looking for an answer, which I have not yet found via searching, here is what I found.
I was personally looking for a way to get the System Board Power consumption value that is visible in the iDRAC web UI.
For me, the OID was found at IDRAC-MIB-SMIv2::amperageProbeType.1.3 (or 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.5.4.600.30.1.6.1.3 )
The index for me was "3", but I would expect this to vary from system to system, most likely those with more or less than 2 power supplies. In environments where this is not fixed, a better way is to get the entire amperageProbeTable and then parse it to get the value you need.
Indexes 1 and 2 for my system is the Power Supply amp usage (in 1/10ths of an amp). Mine read 4 and 6, for a total of 1 amp, which matches the watts used reported in index 3, of 126.
I did not interpret the original question to mean pulling off historical data (graphing information). Your network monitoring tool should handle this.
