Dell Server Deployment Pack Version 2.0 install error processing XML file

Hi,

I am trying to install DSD 2.0 on SCCM 2012 Primary site server. Unfortunately I get error below. Installer tries to import XML console extension and then it fails.

Any idea where to look for fix?

1: StatusText in XML: Importing the Dell Deployment Toolkit package
Action 9:03:11: InstallSccmComponents. Importing the Dell Deployment Toolkit package
1: Processing XML file: D:\SCCM\AdminConsole\XmlStorage\Extensions\bin\Deployment\Dell\PowerEdge\setup\Install_301_Toolkit.xml
1: Failure while processing SCCM objects. Return value = 1001
1: ======================================================
1: 9/4/2012 9:03:11 AM :: Integration Kit version [2.0.0.0], Dated [4/5/2012]
9/4/2012 9:03:11 AM :: configFile parameter was: D:\SCCM\AdminConsole\XmlStorage\Extensions\bin\Deployment\Dell\PowerEdge\setup\Install_301_Toolkit.xml
1: ===[ RETURN CODE = 1001 ]===

Hi

Sorry to hear you are facing an issue installing DSDP.

Can you give us more details on the configuration like

1. OS

2. SMS provider and SQL server is installed on the same machine or different?

3. UAC enabled? If so did u try Open a command prompt running as Administrator then launch the MSI

Can you also please post the contents of the DSDPinstall.log and DSDPInstallDebug.log files which has error details. This would help to provide the reason for the failure.

Thanks
