Dell Server update woes

Hello, I am web developer currently working on   When I try to update my Dell R710 firmware though the bootable tool, it just starts to boot then my display goes blank and the server seems to do nothing and no updates are applied the pages also seem to be broken. Any ideas? Edit: Tried the FTP, cant generate the comparison list. Tried local HDD, failed the integrity check, bootable USB display goes black and is out of range of all my monitors, I have do iDRAC Enterprise for remote access. I can't get any Firmware to update at all. my 2nd dell server and the same rings true with my R210ii, so far had more luck with HP Servers then Dell ones
