I have ordered Dell R720 with 2 GB SD cards. but there is no SD cards in the server, I can see near to power supply, there is slots for SD cards but those are empty.

So but there is a SD card 8GB for iDRAC Vflash. can we create a paritition on that Vflash & install the VMware ESXI 5.5

please reply..

Regarding how to use partitions on the vFlash, please reference the following:

Section 4.4: Boot to ISO from vFlash

This workflow boots the host system from an ISO image located on the vFlash.

From the partition you create, store the VMware image on it. Then from there it gets installed onto your hard drive or virtual disk.
