Error! Hardware or feature not present.

Hi,

I use Open Manage on all Dell server on the compagny where I work. More of 400 server T110 II with the same Windows Server 2012 64bit Image. Technically, all server are exactly the same. But all command I send on 1 server always answer with error:

Error! Hardware or feature not present.

Error! No battery probes found on this system.

Error! No fan probes found on this system.

Error! Intrusion information is not found for this system.

Error! Hardware or feature not present.

Invalid controller value. Read, controller=0
No controllers found.

....

I try with Open Manage 7.4 to 8.4. Same

I try to reboot and at every new installation I unninstall fist

I already see the same error on Server R210 32bit with Windows 2008 and I create this script for solve IT:

taskkill /F /FI "SERVICES eq dcstor64"
msiexec.exe /i C:\Temp\OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WINX64-8.4.0-2193_A00\SysMgmtx64.msi REMOVE=ALL /qb
msiexec.exe /i C:\Temp\OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WINX64-8.4.0-2193_A00\SysMgmtx64.msi /qb

But this time, this not solve the problem

Hello Waxime,

Thank you for your post. 

Kindly check whether OpenManage Server Administrator services are running on your server. 

The service name is : DSM Datamanager Service

If your OS environment is 32bit then use 32bit SysMgmt.msi for any operation like Un-install, install or upgrade. 

Also see the windows logs if there are any OMSA related errors or crashes for both Application and system category.

Thanks I found my problem. For check is Open Manage work correctly, I validate with "omreport 

chassis intrusion".

In my case, all others commands works but not this one (sensor on chassis has broken I think).

 
Is hard to validate if the sensor work fine ?

 But my code is broke because I validate with the only one didn't work
