How to reset iDRAC using commands?

Hello,

I want to do factory reset iDRAC

As I know, if we can access iDRAC GUI, it can be done to click 'reset iDRAC'

but, we can't access iDRAC GUI due to network problem

I believe that some commands can do it..and we can do during booting process..

ex) ipmitool mc reset cold ...?

it's not exact information

so could you let me know how to factory reset iDRAC using commands or during booting process?

Thanks,

During Boot you can go to iDRAC Setting utility to perform iDRAC factory reset. To access iDRAC Settings utility, press F2 during boot and then click iDRAC Settings on the System Setup Main Menu page. Here you can find an option to perform iDRAC factory reset (reset to default). Please note all iDRAC settings go to default when you perform this operation

If you have OMSA installed on the server operating system, you can run below commands to perform iDRAC reset or iDRAC reset to default

Below command will reset iDRAC without changing any setting

racadm racreset

Below command will reset iDRAC to default where all iDRAC settings will go to default

racadm racresetcfg
