JRE 6 to EOL Feb 2013. Will OMSA switch to JRE 7?
Not sure if this is the correct forum...
As I understand from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/eol-135779.html , Oracle will retire Java 6 in Feb 2013. After Feb 2013, security updates will only be available to customer who purchase extended support contracts.
Since OMSA uses JRE 6, will we see a new version that supports JRE 7 soon?
Perhaps OMSA 7.2? :emotion-10:

For the benefit of others.
We downloaded and installed OMSA 7.2. This version comes with JRE 7.
(OMSA 7.1 uses JRE 6)
