Launch Client manager form ITA
Hi, I have installed the client pieces OMCI and the client manager, I can successfully view the client systems within ITA, but if i right click on a client and select to launch the client manager I receive the page that states ITA could not find the client manager installed on the client. I ahve also installed the clients on the ITA server as well.
Any suggestions?

Not sure which version of OMCI you have installed. ITA 8.1 has different behaviours for older versions of OMCI (less than 7.3) and for newer version.
For OMCI versions 7.3 and below ITA will launch OMCC application. This application has to be installed on the same server as ITA and if it is installed after ITA services started, you will have to restart ITA services. For versions of OMCI greater than 7.3 OMCC application is not supported instead Dell Client Manager(DCM) application is the client manager. DCM need not be installed on the same box as ITA. If the version of ITA is less than 8.1 then DCM is not supported only OMCC is supported (again the installed version of OMCI should be less than 7.3)

Thanks for the reply. I have installed version 8.1.0 of the ITA app. and the client is running version 7.5 of the OMCI. If I right click the client machine and select the launch menu, that is where I am seeing launch Dell Client Manager. When selecting that is when I get a page stating that "You have reached this location because IT Assistant could not detect Dell Client Manager agent on the managed system". Guess I will look at the OMCC stuff you provided a link for. Thanks again!

I ended up calling Dell, wasn't overly impressed the tech I spoke with. Anyway, I ended up downgrading to OMCI 7.3 with OMCC and that works as advertised. So, guess were rolling with the older versions...
