My Dell inspirion mini 1012 won't turn on

Hi,my inspirion mini 1012 laptop wont turn on,it only flashes the power light from white to orange and the battery light sometimes flashes white,i don't know what to do,i tried the Fn+power button and it doesn't work,there is nothing displaying and i can't hear any hardware turnin gon or moving inside.I think the battery doesn't work because it's been sitting for one or two years,but the lights only flash with the charger plugged in.
