Hi,

Could you give us some more details about the issue? Which OS is running on this server ? Would it be possible to attach a screen shot of the OMSA page ?

Thanks

Hi,

Looks like DSM SA Data Manager service is not started ,hence the OMSA tree is incomplete . You can start the service from  services.msc . Also please check if idrac is working .

Thanks,

Sabhina

Cheers Sabhina for the reply

Indeed the service DSM SA Data Manager was stopped, I have tried to start the service and it errors "Windows could not start  the service DSM SA Data Manager service on local computer"

Event log shows

The DSM SA Data Manager service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 1 time(s).

Hi,

Apologize for the late reply . I think 7.4 .0.2 update was not properly done on the server . I would suggest to uninstall 7.4.0.2 .After uninstall please check there are  no files present in C:\Program Files\Dell\SysMgt ,also  check in registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Dell Computer Corporation no entries are present . If anything is present please delete and reboot server .

Install 7.4.0 and apply 7.4.0.2. Please let me know if this helps you

Thanks,

Sabhina
