OMSA v7.4 Where did the preferences tab go?

Just loaded OMSA v7.4.  The preferences tab (which is where you adjust settings for the OMSA server, including updating the x.509 certificate) is not there anymore.

The web page has a link on the bottom to Manage Web Server.  But this does not accept a login (the same login that gets me into the main OMSA pages fails here).    Is this where the preferences went?

If we are using OMSA on a virtual machine to access the  VMWare host information through managing a remote host, which credentials should be accepted by OMSA for "Manage Web Server"?  The credentials we use to access the host through OMSA, or the credentials for the virtual machine.  Neither are working for me

Hello

The preferences tab is still present in 7.4. If you are managing remotely using OMSA then make sure you update OMSA on the management station and the host you are wanting to manage. If they are on different versions then you will have odd issues like the login problem you are experiencing.

Also, make sure that you install the managed node version on the host system and not the web client version that is intended to be used for remote management.

Thanks

OK, thank you.  The link called "Manage Web Server" under the usual login takes you to the management of the web server where the preferences are now located.  The login here is to the OS that is running the web server, not the VMWare host.  So the login credentials are generally Windows credentials, as opposed to the VMWare credentials needed for logging into OMSA to see the VMWare host system hardware information.
