RAC0212: Login failed. Verify that username and password is correct.

Question

iDRAC login failed using domain creds, Directory Services is configured and required AD group was added.

Tried to rejoin and reboot the ESXi host but encountered the same error while logging in.

Anyone encountered this error?

The password must include one uppercase and one lower case letter, one number and a special character.

You may be able to create user names and passwords that include other characters. However, to ensure compatibility with all interfaces, Dell recommends using only the characters listed here.

The network-share type determines the characters allowed in user names and passwords for network shares. iDRAC supports valid characters for network share credentials as defined by the share type, except <, >, and , (comma).
