Raidcfg 10 from a MDT/WIndows PE

Hello,

Currently I am trying to get a fastinit working with an MDT kit so the drives are not initializing by the time I execute the SUU utility in my deployment.

I have a few config options in a script that will run the raidcfg.exe based off of what kind of server is configured. Between an R710, R720 and 2950.

The person who previously configured this is calling an ini file such as raidcfg.exe -i=%temp%\raid-R710.ini

I tried adding Action=fastinit to the bottom of the ini file with no success. It just fails. This is the config..

[vdisk0]
controllerid=0
raid=10
readpolicy=ara
writepolicy=wb
stripesize=64
cachepolicy=e

I am thinking instead of calling the .ini file just scripting it manually. However, this is going to be Raid 10 and some options RAID 5 but I don't know how many hard drives will be in the system (However , it will always be an even amount above 4) .

I have tried multiple combinations of running raidcfg in a command prompt from Windows PE with no success for the above config.

Help!

Thanks
