Repository Manager Error: "Unable to connect to ftp.dell.com/catalog.cab"

If you are currently seeing this error " "Unable to connect to ftp.dell.com/catalog.cab" here is a workaround you can try till support has the tool working again.

Steps:

  1. Goto ftp.dell.com/catalog
  2. Download  the catalog.cab ( date 01-12-2012) file to a local repository folder
  3. Point Repository Manger to the Local Catalog.cab when you want a new repository
  4. It will connect to FTP.dell.com and pull down the latest firmware and drivers for your server platform.

It was an issue with a web certificate.  It should be corrected now.
