Resetting DRAC 5 Password

We have a slight problem as in we have a DRAC card in one of our servers at a remote site but the password was not stored anywhere and the guy who installed the card has left. I can RDP onto the server is there a way to reset the DRAC password from the server itself or any other means ? DRAC 5 Thanks Matthew

Thanks for posting!  First, try the default username and password, root/calvin.  If that doesn't work you need to do a hard reset on the DRAC, or just go into the DRAC BIOS by pressing Ctrl+E when prompted during POST.  You can do a hard reset with the RACADM command if you have OMSA installed on the server.  The command is:

racadm reset hard
