Server Administrator can't find PERC 3/Di
My PE2650 server has 3 storage adapters: AHA-39160, PERC 3/Di and PERC 4/DC.
When installing Server Administrator version OM_5.5.0_ManNode_A00, the PreReqChecker show information: "If you are installing Storage Management on your system for the first time, installation may not be able to detect the firmware or device drivers for any PERC 3/Di controllers on the system. See the "Storage" tab in the Server Administrator graphical user interface (GUI) after installation, for more information."
I just go ahead and complete the installation. Then I login the OpenManager Server Administrator Website. On the "Storage" tab, I can only find AHA-39160 and PERC 4/DC but no PERC 3/Di.
How to make PERC 3/Di accessable to the Server Administrator, so I can manage the SCSI HDs attathed to it? I appreciate for any suggestion.

Thanks for posting! Have you checked the firmware and driver versions for the PERC 3/Di to make sure they are up to date? Older firmwares and drivers tend not to work well with recent versions of OMSA.

Thanks for your apply. I download lastest firmware 2.8.1.7692-A13 from http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R168380&SystemID=PWE_FOS_XEO_2650&servicetag=&os=WNET&osl=en&deviceid=1375&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=7&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=4&libid=35&fileid=228535.
Then I run it and get error. So I look at the "Important Information" section at the download page and find that PERC 3/Di on PE2650 servers using legacy firmware levels of 2.1.3 or 2.1.5 will require first update the firmware to version 2.5 then update from version 2.5 to version 2.8.x.
But the oldest version I can find on Dell Website for PERC 3/Di firmware on 2650 is v. 2.7.0.3157, A04. Can anybody send me the PERC 3/Di firmware on 2650 v2.5 or tell me how to get it ? Thanks.

Installing Server Administrator on a Microsoft Windows will install a filter driver for PERC 3/Di controller. This filter driver can be utilized after the OS is rebooted and will be helpful for server administrator to manage the PERC 3/DI controller.
So, I request you to check whether the Server administrator can enumerate the PERC 3/DI after the OS reboot.

I found the problem: the driver of 3/Di is from Microsoft not Dell. After updating the driver and then the firmware of 3/Di to the latest, the Server administrator can enumerate the PERC 3/DI. Thanks for all the posts.
