UPS Firmware upgrade tool

Hi all,

is there a way to perform silent installation of firmware upgrade tool that can be found here:

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/555/DriverDetails/Product/dell-line-interactive-tower-ups-500t?driverId=1N4TP&fileid=2995479565

Second question is can this software be installed on win 2k8 core system.

And final question would be is there a possibility to automatically install firmware from a command promt (we have a large number of dell servers with ups devices so manual installation will cause a lot of man/hours)

thnx

BigBen2712,

It is supported on 2008 Standard, but I am not seeing it supported on Core. It isn't listed, but you can try it.

You currently can't push updates to the UPS from an interface (such as OMSA, OME),  you are limited to basic abilities at this time.

What are you referring to as a "silent installation"?

thnx Chris, I guess I will have to try it.

By silent install I mean without user interaction. Push installation using software like MS SCCM. So nobody has to be in front of server or console. Setup will run without asking questions like folder location etc.
