Unable to monitor OMSA while running IIS 6.0 on same system?

I have a web server running IIS 6.0 on Windows Standard Server 2003 R2.   I want to be able to monitor it using IT Assistant 8.0 (running on a domain member server), but it appears that ITA wants to connect to the server (which is a stand alone), using port 80.  However port 80 is already being used by IIS.   Is there a way to modify the listener port that OMSA is using?   ITA also can't communicate with the server using SNMP nor CIM, even though both are properly installed.

I can access OMSA directly on the stand alone server. so the services are definitely running.

I don't think IIS will cause problems.

I'd recommend you checking the following:
(a) Do you have a firewall turned on that prevents IT Assistant (ITA) from communicating with the system?
(b) Have you correctly configured SNMP community?
(c) Did you try Ping, SNMP and CIM test from ITA's troubleshooting tool? Did each of them pass?

The stand alone server is on the same subnet as the ITA server.

The ping test works, but neither the CIM nor SNMP tests work, even though SNMP is active on the stand alone server.

Even with no firewall in the way between the two systems, the CIM and SNMP connections fail.
