What replaces OpenManage on T620 machines?
From what I've heard OpenManage won't run on the 12G series. Is that correct?

Where did you hear that? OMSA 7.0 has been released and is available for the 12G servers:

I "misheard" something when talking to a Dell Server guy a few weeks ago.

The changes are only in the "central" management application - moving away from IT Assistant to OpenManage Essentials. There has been some confusion out there that OpenManage Essentials is somehow replacing OpenManage Server Administrator, but it is not - they work together.
