iDRAC9 v3.15 Gen14 T440 Importing Server Configuration Profile from USB device

Hi

I have about 70 Servers to ship.

Stage one is to Prep Idrac,RAid and Bios

I have created a master Config.xml file which of I can quickly create unique versions of each server site with a find a simple find and replace of server names and IP.

During stage one I do not have a network

I am having difficulty with the  "Importing Server Configuration Profile from USB device"

http://www.dell.com/support/manuals/au/en/aubsdt1/poweredge-r440/idrac_3.15.15.15_ug/importing-server-configuration-profile-from-usb-device?guid=guid-47ba628e-bd68-4db1-96e1-d5ac2d7ae9a5&lang=en-us

The T440 does not seem to have a wrench USB port i.e. a dedicated Idrac port like the T330. Can any port be used? Has anybody successfully used this process on a t440?

Hello

The technical guide states that it is the front USB port on the T440. It should be enabled by default. If it is not working then I suggest you check the settings to make sure it is enabled. There is a system BIOS setting and an iDRAC setting that both need to be enabled.
