Auto shutdown and start of server and UPS
I have a Dell 3750 rack UPS and i want to configure the UPS to auto shutdown my servers after the power failure. And Auto start of UPS and servers after the AC power restored.
Ideally i want
when AC lost the server should shutdown after 8 mins. Then the ups should shutdown itself.
when AC restored the UPS should start after 5 mins. And after 6 mins of UPS start the servers should start.
Kinldy give your suggestions. Looking forward for your help.

Hello Mudassar
Our UPS utilities will definitely help with shutting the server down in the case of a power outage. I don't know of a method for powering them back up. It is possible by polling the DRAC, and when you get a response a RACADM command could be sent to power the system back on. To my knowledge we do not have any software that will do this, but it is possible if you are able to write this type of scripting.
