Reformat Hard drives on blade server
We just installed an m1000E blade chassis with 4 M620 servers. I am looking at a variety of new virtulization options. One product claims a previous install failed and the apparent solution is to format the disk (mirrored 136 15K SAS) and reinstall. The problem is, I've not encountered this before, and I'm really uncertain how I should accomplish this. The installer does not have an option to reformat prior to install.
If anyone has a suggestion or can point me in a direction I'd greatly appreciate it.

56Nine,
What you would do is access the controller on the M620 through the System Settings, then select Device Settings, then Raid Controller in question. From there select Virtual Disk Mgmt, then select Virtual Disk Operations. There you will see the choice between Fast Initialization, Slow Initialization, and Check Consistency. Select Fast Initialization and then Start Operation. Now a reminder, this will delete all data on the drives, so if that data is needed please back up first.
Let me know how it goes.
