Reset Lost DRAC Password (without resetting IP Configs)
I have a r720 in a data center where the DRAC password has been lost. I want to reset the
DRAC password to the default (root/calvin) so I can access it remotely and change it. Is it possible
for somebody to post the step-by-step process to reset the DRAC password to default without
wiping out the IP configuration settings?
** Also I'm not sure if this is a DRAC4/5/6/7 because the webGUI also appears to be disabled, so I need to SSH into the DRAC once the PW is reset. So please post any differences for 4/5/6/7.
Thanks,

Hello.
If you got someone onsite, boot into the iDRAC configuration utility using Ctrl+E during POST and go to User Authentication to change user name and password. You may also boot into the LifeCycle Controller (LCC) using F10 key. Go to System Setup -> Advanced Hardware Configuration -> iDRAC Settings -> User Configuration to change the login credentials. Ideally, R720 comes with either iDRAC 7 Enterprise or Express

Hi, and if i cannot enter the iDRAC how can i do this if it is a BLADE?
If it was a racked unit i could plug kvm and i'd be good to go.
