When AT&T gives the go ahead and no one knows when that will happen. Why not got the route most everyone else is and take matters into your own hands. Use the QDL tool to update to 2.2 yourself. www.streaksmart.com has info on so does the xda-developers.com forum.

proven by statistics that u can Google AT&T has yet to update a single android phone thats locked to them i just went ahead and upgraded mines with the QdlTool now running froyo and base-band 00, Jesus is it a huge difference. plus AT7T will probably disable tethering.

Does anyone know of a qualified tech support person who can do the update via xda-developers.com? I looked at the Utube video about the process and do not feel I could do a proper job. I'd be happy to pay a reasonable fee for this service.
