Dell Canvas "Fish Hooking" Quick Pen Strokes

Dell Canvas pen leaves "fish hooks" (curls) at the beginning of each pen stroke. Driving me crazy! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers including the pen drivers and nothing has corrected the problem. Running Windows 10 64 bit. Is Dell no longer supporting this rather new device already?? I have seen no firmware updates or driver updates in over a year. What's going on.

I know others have reported this fish hooking and outside of a bad pen, I cannot imagine that this couldn't be fixed by a firmware update of some sort.

I love this thing but may be forced to unload it on Ebay if I cannot get this remedied soon.
